About Me

Hello! I am Lindsay Tucker (they/she) and I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and also hold a Certificate in Trauma Counseling from Antioch University. I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology/Chemistry and Spanish, and in the following years worked in academia and computer science while pursuing cycling at the professional level. In addition to counseling, I coach athletes and teach trauma-informed weight-lifting and yoga; I am passionate about helping people heal their relationship with their body and find a movement ritual that leads them to embodiment. In my free time, I enjoy moving my body outdoors with my two and four-legged family members.

I work with participants from a variety of backgrounds across the lifespan, but particularly enjoy working with high-achievers. I understand the unique challenges of athletes, peripartum parents, and ADHD-ers and the immense pressure often felt to perform at their best.

I also recognize the effects of diet and wellness culture in these groups as well and I enjoy helping these participants repair and improve their relationship with food, movement, and their body.

Areas of focus in my clinical practice:

  • Perfectionism, high-achievement, and procrastination

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Adult ADHD and neurodiverse burnout

  • Body dissatisfaction and disordered eating

  • Difficult relationships with food, body, and movement

  • Dissatisfaction in couple and non-monogamous relationships

  • Divorce and co-parenting coaching and support

  • Identity development

  • Personal empowerment

  • Life transitions

  • Trauma-informed, somatic, and mindful care
