SINGLE PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

(JAN-MARCH 2026)

This six-session group is co-facilitated by Felicia Marie and Lindsay Tucker, two single parents who together hold a wealth of knowledge and experience in somatic healing and therapeutic modalities, creating a space that blends professional insight with lived experience. This group offers a supportive environment for anyone navigating life as a single parent; whether newly solo or seasoned in the role. Together, we’ll explore the challenges and strengths of parenting solo while balancing emotional, financial, and relational realities. Through connection, reflection, and shared resources, participants will have opportunities to learn practical coping tools, share experiences, and strengthen their sense of community and resilience. Grounded in intersectional, trauma-informed, and liberatory values, this group welcomes parents who want to show up authentically and engage in community with openness, curiosity, and respect.

Who this group is for

This group welcomes all single parents across Washington State seeking an affirming and understanding space to grow and be supported. This group may not be a fit for those who are uncomfortable with intersectional, trauma-informed, and liberatory values.

What to expect

In this group, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental space where all experiences of single parenthood are respected and honored. Each session will include a mix of guided discussion, gentle reflection, and practical skill-building focused on topics like stress management, boundary setting, co-parenting dynamics, and self-compassion. You’ll have opportunities to share your experiences (at your own pace), connect with other single parents, and explore tools that support emotional regulation and resilience. Sessions are conversational, flexible and grounded in real life (not perfection) and shaped by the needs and voices in the group.

Why participate?

Parenting on your own can be both deeply rewarding and profoundly challenging, and it’s not something you should have to navigate in isolation. This group offers a chance to connect with others who truly understand the complexities of single parenthood, from daily logistics to emotional load. You’ll gain a sense of community, learn practical tools for managing stress and strengthening boundaries, and have space to reflect on your own growth and values as a parent. Participating can help you feel more grounded, supported, and confident—reminded that you’re not alone in this work of raising a family and caring for yourself.
